So many things are so different in my life now than they were a year ago. It was about this time last year that Kelly was spewing with hate and crumbling from hurt.

Anyway, I found this song by Sarah McLachlan, my absolute favorite singer. I had my iTunes on random and the lyrics caught my attention. When I looked them up and read it all, I realized that this song is what I should have said to Kelly before I let things ignite and then burn to ash.

NOTE: When Paige was reading the lyrics to this, she looked hurt. So I looked at the lyrics that she was seeing. The version I had pulled up at the time wrote out “You want me too; Don’t you?”

As soon as I realized that, I pointed out that the first time I read the lyrics they read, “You want me to; Don’t you?” And that’s why the lyrics meant so much.

Two very different meanings coming from one little letter. Crazy, isn’t it?
